Stranded: A New Year's Eve Anthology

Champagne … fireworks … ice storms and broken elevators? What happens when New Year’s Eve doesn’t go as planned? Find out in these six romances about people forced to ring in the new year with each other when fate pushes them together.
The Promise by Carly Fall
Three years ago, Gabby watched her lover and best friend, Lucas Tate, walk out of her life. Despite his promise that they'd be reunited after her high school graduation, a few months later, Lucas' correspondence ceased and she never heard from him again.
She encounters him once more on a snowy New Year's Eve—when he walks into the convenience store where she's working. With the bad weather closing all highways, the two end up stranded together for the night, trapped with each other, along with their past. Will Lucas' reasons for abandoning Gabby be enough for her to forgive him and move into the future he so desperately wants with her?
When the Party’s Over by Casse NaRome
Le Lan Lee has a choice to make. On New Year's Eve, she receives a message from her past. Will she answer Fate's call? The decision regarding helping an old flame out of a jam will lead her down the path of life or death, and love or hate.
Satisfaction by Elise Marion
Audrey Hammond can’t think of anything worse than being trapped in her office with co-worker Shane Watson on New Year’s Eve. Aside from the fact that he’s beaten her out of more lucrative advertising accounts than she can count, he’s a smooth-talking smart ass who always seems to know how to get under her skin.
Yet, when a broken elevator at an office party leaves the two stuck together with no chance of escape, Audrey may find that Shane is not at all the person she thought he was—and maybe, she’ll find herself falling for the last guy on Earth she’d have ever thought she wanted.
Natural Woman by Kacey Hammell
After a heartbreaking tragedy years ago, Cora has lived in a self-inflicted solitude, hidden away from the pitying looks of her neighbors.
But when one of the worst storms in years plows through, a stranded traveler requires her help. With New Year’s Eve fast approaching, Nick’s open honesty reassures her how beautiful she is. And his gentle hands teach her that there is more to her than the scars she carries.
Dante's Heaven by Natalie G. Owens
The path to paradise begins in Hell...
Dante Santoro is out to redeem the sins of his father, and won't stop until he's settled the score and made up for lost time. Destiny King has built a new life for herself from the ruins of pain and tragedy.
There are things that can never be forgotten, betrayals that will never be forgiven. But sometimes, the horrors of the past can be erased through a night of magic, happenstance ... and second chances.
Hacking for Love by Zee Monodee
Aloof and reserved business magnate Enzo Caparelli settles for a quiet night in on this New Year's Eve, as does scarred and cancer-recovering medical doctor Viveka 'Vivi' Sari at The Cape, Enzo's hotel in Central Manhattan.
Neither had counted on the younger Caparelli brother, Fabrizio, playing matchmaker and hacking into the hotel's security system to strand them in the penthouse suite that night.

Who's ready for Thanksgiving?

Hello happy readers!

I love this time of year. From October all the way through February 14th it is fun holiday season. I love it. It also brings a lot of distractions for my writing and I know yall have been waiting over a year for the next book in the Reborn series. I'm sorry. I am really working on it but there is also so much going on with that series publisher. The owner passed away this summer and we are trying to reorganize things but I swear early next year The Reborn series fans will finally get the next book. Depending on how Bayou Brew Publishing is restructured there maybe more than one book left in the series.

I also have two short stories coming up. The first is part of an Anthology and it is New Year's Eve themed releasing on December 26th. The second will be released as a Valentine's day short story releasing February 1st. They will both be non paranormal. It is so new for me not to write Paranormal Romance it is so out my box I get so nervous and get tempted to toss in an angel or reaper. So tempted. I will tell you more on the story a little later this week.

Part Time Reaper II will be released in April. I decided not to rush that series as I had originally planned to do. I planned to release PTR series every four months keeping them short. Instead I'm going to go with how mainstream does their books and every year do that series. That means I will make it a longer story and try...TRY not to have such killer cliffhangers. ;-)

Memory Keepers #2 will also be in the works but it is with a publisher so fingers crossed it comes out in 2015. I keep trying to push book #1 so they see the demand by readers. lol

I will post before Thanksgiving but I hope you enjoy this time and not get too stressed out. Enjoy your family, friends and a good book!

Indie Book Fest 2014

I went to IBF 2014 and I had so much fun! I am just now recovering from not being an introvert for those few days. I was on two amazing panels with talented authors. I remember thinking "What am I doing up here with these real authors?" lol it was hard to believe that these talented women and men were my peers. Talk about humbling!

Now time for pictures!
I fan girled over Sarra Cannon

I won some books from Elise Marion!

I bought some books from Elise Marion...
I stopped by and chatted with Wendy L Owens instead of staying by my table :)

I begged for an ARC from Peggy Martinez (not too proud to beg lol)

I saw Cynthia O'Neill and had to go chat it up with her and buy her reincarnation series.

I have a lot more books that I bought at the signing or won during a panel I will probably review them over at The Litter Box...Scoop Daily! as I finish them. :)

One of the hardest post

It has been over a week since I lost my good friend, my mentor, and my editor. I thought in that time I would wake up and not have to write this. Monique's death has left me reeling. I can't even begin to focus on what this means for a few of my books because at this point, I just don't care. I know I should care about the fate of Dain, Bonnie, Akila, and Marco but I don't.

Monique believed in me and she loved these character. I know she'd want me to keep writing but right now I just can't even sit down and begin to join their world again. I know some day I will be able to do it. Right now...right now, I just can't.

I am trying to pretend that I am okay but this is so crazy. SO CRAZY. One of the last things she said to me via fb messenger was "I'll be fine." How can she not be? How can she be gone?

I know that mourning takes awhile and I know I will be writing, the series that we worked on together, again. I just wanted yall to know that it is too hard right now so please excuse the delays. I promise I will be back!
